About the Role
The Quality Control Manager is responsible for the day-to-day activities related to incoming material inspection, intermediate and final product release testing, post market stability programs and the continuous improvement of internal quality control processes and systems.
The Quality Control Manager will:

Manage, plan and schedule the inspection and testing for incoming goods and the testing of in-process and finished products.

Review quality records, procedures and documentation to ensure compliance to regulatory standards.

Authorise the disposition of incoming materials.

Analyse and resolve quality problems.

Raise and assist in the investigation of non-conformances, deviations and other quality actions.

Identify and implement improvements to quality control methods and standards.

Liaise with production planning to prioritise resources and activities to meet the production schedule.

Manage the post market stability testing program.

Assist in the delivery of quality system training.

Support external regulatory audits by providing subject matter expert knowledge of processes.

Order laboratory consumables and equipment.

Liaise with other internal and external customers regarding quality control issues. Skills and Experience.
Mandatory:
- Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) in Science or Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years industry experience in an area directly relevant to the position.
- Demonstrated people management experience.
- Clear communication skills.
- Planning, organisational and time management skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to interpret scientific data.
- Strong English written and verbal communication skills.
- Competency in computer usage including Microsoft applications including Word, Excel.
Desirable (highly regarded):
- Experience working within a heavily regulated environment.
- Audit experience (both Auditee and Auditor).
- Regulatory Inspection Experience.
- Laboratory management experience.
- Warehouse, material or supplier management experience
- Data integrity control experience.
