A leading Electrical Engineering service provider expanding its wings to Power and Energy sector in Sri Lanka.

We are looking for a self-motivated dynamic individual with a sound personality to work as an Electrical Engineer. You will be responsible for carrying out electrical engineering duties with integrity and professionalism while adhering to general guidelines and getting efficient output of the electrical team.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of proven work experience as an Electrical Engineer.
• Degree/Diploma in Electrical Engineering from a recognized university or institute.
• Excellent command of English language (both written and verbal).
• Age below 45 years.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Problem solving and strong decision-making skills.
• Ability to plan and manage electrical engineering team effectively.
• Results driven approach with a positive attitude.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure.
• Highest level of integrity and dedication.
• Ability to take the lead and carry out projects as required.
• Design & Estimation experience will be an added advantage.

Job Duties

• Managing electrical supervisory staff by leading & motivating and offering technical expertise.
• Proposing, estimating, planning, implementation, and development of all new electrical projects.
• Analyzing & identifying drawbacks, and suggesting & implementing developments in the existing systems.
• Analyzing technical drawings, interpreting specifications, and determining the electrical requirements of a given project.
• Monitoring and controlling labor and material costs according to the budget.
• Maintaining all necessary electrical maintenance records.
• Analyzing breakdowns, diagnosing faults, and supervising time critical maintenance and repair work.
• Reporting work progress updates, evaluating work done, and taking necessary actions to improve overall efficiency of electrical teams.
• Design review, document handling and technical submissions.
• Keeping abreast of the latest developments in electrical engineering.
